I went to a History conference yesterday on the Third Reich. Very informative and interesting, but the true highlight of my day has to be getting to meet Ian Kershaw. For those of you who aren't aware of this man, he is THE foremost historian on Hitler and Nazi Germany. Not only did he sign my copy of his book, but I also got a photo of myself with him. Sad I know, but what can I say? I'm a big admirer of his work.
